Audi RS4: Make way for the RS6

Sad day for the Audi RS 4 enthusiasts around. According to Autocar, the Audi RS4's production will be halted in October, 2007 in order to make way for the production of the Audi RS 6. This has been rumored for some time and with every bad story there is a grain of salt. Since this is the last of the RS's to be produce for the Audi B7 line of A4s, we can all look forward to the 2009 B8 version which will hopefully include an RS 4 in its line! This has yet to be confirmed by Audi.

2007 Audi RS 4 production ends in October, 2007

Here are a few excerpts:

The 414bhp V8-powered RS4 was unveiled at the Geneva motor show in 2005, and went on sale in the UK in October of that year; it'll stop being built this October.....

.....Though Audi hasn't admitted as much, RS4 production is being phased out to make way for the forthcoming new RS6.
